KRITTER KOUNTRY

POLICIES & PROCEDURES


In order to provide the best service for you, your pets and others, we have established the following policies.

 

SERVICE AREA
Kritter Kountry serves Northern Humboldt County including Eureka, Arcata, McKinleyville, Blue Lake, Fortuna, Ferndale, Loleta, King Salmon, and Fields Landing. Outside service areas include Scotia, Rio Dell, Westhaven and Trinidad for an additional surcharge of $5.00 per visit.


SCHEDULING APPOINTMENTS

Appointments may be scheduled via on line form, email, or by phone. All appointments will be confirmed by return email or phone. An initial consultation must be set up for First Time Clients. The initial consultation is free when booking any service, otherwise a $20 consultation charge will be charged to cover time and expenses. There is also a $20 charge for any requested follow-up consultations.


PAYMENT
Payments for all services are to be paid in full at the time of booking or on the first day of service. We accept Cash, Check and Paypal (depending on service or product). To use Paypal just use the corresponding Paypal Button. Billing services are not offered.


CANCELLATIONS
48 hour notice is required to cancel any booked service. Any cancellations thereafter for the day of a scheduled service or for the first two days of a scheduled series of services are payable and/or non-refundable. Once services are already in progress there are no refunds. The balance of any paid services may be given a credit depending on circumstances and can be used for future services. Notices may be given by voice message or email.


HOLIDAY CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations of any service for the major holidays of Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's and Easter must be made a minimum of two weeks prior to scheduled appointment or first visit of a scheduled series of services. Any cancellations with less than two weeks notice are payable and/or non-refundable.

 

BOUNCE CHECK POLICY

If a check is returned for insufficient funds, the client or issuing party will be responsible for the original charges plus $75 for fees and expenses to be paid in Cash, Money Order or Cashiers Check.


SERVICE VISITS
Pet Sitting Services: Morning visits are made between the hours of 6am and 10am. Evening Visits are made between the hours of 4pm and 7pm. Mid Day visits are made between 11am and 2pm. Overnights cover 7pm to 7am. All times may vary slightly depending on location.

 

Dog Walking: Mid-day dog walking are made between 11am and 2pm. Morning or evening dog walks only with special arrangement. Dog Walking services are not available on holidays. Service may be rescheduled due to inclement weather.

 

Pooper Scooper: One time only services are scheduled on Monday thru Friday. Times will vary depending on schedule. Once a week monthly contracts can be scheduled for any day Monday thru Friday. Times will vary depending on schedule. Twice a week monthly contracts will be scheduled either Mon/Thur or Tues/Fri. Times will vary depending on schedule. Pooper Scooper service is not available on holidays. Service may be postponed and/or rescheduled due to inclement weather.

 

Pet Taxi: Pet Taxi service is available Monday thru Friday. Regular Pet Taxi service is not available on weekends or holidays. Pet Taxi service must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance. Depending on schedule, Pet Taxi service may not be available.

 

Emergency Pet Taxi is available 24/7 - 365 days a year. Charges are payable at time of service. After hours charges ( 7pm - 6am) of $25 per 1/2 transport and 1/2 waiting time may apply in addition to regular emergency rates.

 

Animal Training: Private Training and Consulting sessions are scheduled upon request Monday thru Saturday. Sessions are not available on Sundays or holidays. Sessions may be rescheduled due to inclement weather.

 

Pet Nursing Services: Assisted Care, Geriatric Care and Hospice Care services are available Monday thru Friday. Holiday and weekend appointments by special arrangement.


SAME DAY SERVICE REQUESTS
Same day service requests, depending on existing schedule, may not always be accomodated.


KEYS
For services requiring key entry, a key must be provided at consultation or made available prior to commencement of service. All keys kept in our possession are kept in a lock box for client protection. Keys may be returned per request. Keys left on site, pre or post service, per client request do so at their own risk. Key drop off/pick up charge is equal to the cost of one regular pet sitting visit. For keys left in our possession, emergency lock out service is provided equal to the cost of one regular pet sitting visit.

 

PRODUCT SHIPPING AND RETURN POLICIES

Shipping
Most orders will be shipped within 1-2 business days.

Returns
Unused, unopened and undamaged products may be returned for a full refund within thirty (30) days from the date of receipt. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment only.
Damaged Items
If an order is received damaged, simply call or email and return the damaged items within seven (7) days from date of shipment. We will promptly resend your order.
How to make a return
Package your return carefully so it does not become damaged and send it through a shipper that tracks orders, or insure it through the postal service. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Kritter Kountry, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, consultants, and agents from any and all claims, liability (including product liability), damages, and/or costs (including, but not limited to, attorneys' fees) that arise from your use of any of Kritter Kountry services or products.
